A Green Key assures guests that, by choosing to stay with a Green Key establishment, they are helping make a difference for the environment. The high environmental standards expected of these establishments are maintained through rigorous documentation and frequent audits. Green Key is eligible for hotels, hostels, small accommodations, campsites, holiday parks, conference centres, restaurants and attractions.
New Criteria & Process Explained
To support establishments during this transition period, Green Key International is hosting two webinars on 5 May at 09:00 CET and 15:00 CET. These webinars will give an overview of the most important changes and introduce practical guidance on what is important for the application process. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions to the Green Key team to confidently navigate the updated certification requirements.

Online intro sessions to Green Key for Interested establishments
Green Key International hosts quarterly intro sessions to give a short introduction to the Green Key programme: criteria and certification process, participation costs, support tools, benefits of Green Key, how to get started and contact information. After the presentation, there is time for a Q&A session.
