The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) is a not-for-profit corporation that aims to facilitate the full potential of the Caribbean hotel & tourism industry by serving member needs and building partnerships in a socially responsible and sustainable manner.
EKOenergy
The EKOenergy label is a not-for-profit initiative of the EKOenergy Network, a group of 45 environmental organizations from 35 countries. It is the only international ecolabel for renewable energy. The label is available all over the world and its material is available in more than 30 languages. EKOenergy started in 2013 in Europe and is now gradually increasing its global reach.
Tourism Sustainability Certifications Alliance
The Tourism Sustainability Certifications Alliance is a collaboration of leading sustainable travel and tourism certification organisations from around the world. For over 30 years, this group of leading internationally recognised certification organisations has been responsible for developing the industry’s best practice standard for accepted criteria in sustainable tourism. Together, these organisations have certified more than 19,000 of the world’s leading travel and tourism companies, organisations and destinations.
University of Surrey
The University of Surrey is a public research university located in the South East of England (United Kingdom). The university is ranked #5 in the world in tourism, hospitality and events. The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Surrey works with Green Key on research related to monitoring and evaluation of the effect of sustainability programmes.
University of West Indies, St. Augustine Campus
The Faculty of Social Sciences is the largest Faculty in the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus comprising four departments including– the Department of Behavioural Sciences, the Department of Economics, the Department of Management Studies, and the Department of Political Science.
